Werlabs UK Country Manager

Werlabs is a health tech company providing health analysis via blood testing. We are building next-generation healthcare web and mobile applications that have an impact on people's health and now we are looking for a UK Country Manager to build out our UK operations. You’ll work with our team based in Stockholm to build both the demand and supply side of our offering.

You will have large responsibilities from day one. What you do will have actual impact on our users and Werlabs as a company. Your opinions and ideas will matter.

This role is based in London.

What we’re looking for

A business development professional who is highly motivated - a doer, who is willing to take responsibility for building our UK business. You have a flexible mind-set combined with the passion to change healthcare through consumer-driven technology solutions. Your working style is entrepreneurial and with a hands-on approach towards problem solving. And you enjoy building and working in a collaborative team solving big problems.

You will wear many hats: your day will range from high level meetings with NHS professionals, managing talent e.g. influencers, meeting with B2B sales opportunities all the way to answering customer service queries. Ideally, you have worked in a fast growing tech company e.g. Uber, or have the resilience to build, own and take responsibility for your business. You will have full P&L responsibility for the UK market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategy to ensure growth and achievement of revenue objectives
  • Build a strong presence in the UK by raising the public profile and delivering keynote speeches at industry conferences and events
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing the pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts
  • Drive the highest levels of client service and improve relationships and process
  • Build and maintain senior level clients by identifying incremental and business transformation opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal, cross market/regional teams to ensure product improvement, transfer knowledge, improving process/client relationship
  • Actively participate in the leadership team and global teams where appropriate, embracing the company mission
  • Develop, retain and motivate existing team while recruiting for new members and continually raising the bar for talent and capabilities
  • Drive overall operational efficiency across sales, marketing and business operations

Minimum Qualification

  • 5+ years relevant experience, strong knowledge of the UK market, carrying a revenue or P&L responsibility in a high growth environment
  • Demonstrable relevant experience in marketing, media or technology and proven experience in managing regional sales
  • Personal network with C level executive contacts across the country’s largest brands and businesses
  • Proven ability in leading high performance teams and delivering successful business results
  • Proven and consistent track record of executing against aggressive growth strategies and delivering against targets in excess of company expectations
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve their best with a team approach
  • Experience delivering success in a global, matrix organization
  • High caliber sales professional with experience of working across multiple geographies
  • Excellent leadership, problem solving/decision making, and communications skills including a perfect command of English
  • Experience working with and knowledge of advertising agencies and groups is a plus
  • Deep understanding of television, Internet and other media advertising is a plus
  • A high work ethic combined with a vision that will help achieve Werlabs global mission
